We are so grateful to IRP (Idaho Resilience Project) and S.I.C.K. (SIXES Creative Institute for Kids) for partnering with us to start a POCATELLO BOARDING SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP FUND!

THE MISSION OF OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IS TO MAKE SKATEBOARDING TUITIONS ACCESSIBLE TO THOSE WHO COULD OTHERWISE NOT ATTEND DUE TO FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES.

To the official Scholarship Candidate, we would like to know what skateboarding lessons with Pocatello Boarding School would mean to you!

Parents/Guardians we understand you may have to help with typing depending on age but we ask that our scholarship candidate express themselves when asked in the field below "what would being awarded this scholarship mean to you?". We want to hear straight from our candidates why they would like to join us as Pocatello Boarding School's newest skateboarding students!

Students, please advocate for yourself and for your spot in this program! If you don't know how to advocate for yourself yet, that is ok! Give it a shot, let us know about you, your life, and what

skateboarding lessons would mean to you!

We are currently accepting submissions for students who are ages 8-14. If the candidate feels that skateboarding lessons would be beneficial but they are under/over the age, apply anyway and share with us why the candidate is a good fit.

PS we are not looking for the grammar or spelling to be perfect.

Thank you!!

We ask that parent's contribute what they can, if at all, in order for the scholarship funds to reach as many student's as possible.

How many months would you need financial assistance?

At Pocatello Boarding School (PBS) we want to give back to our community and break ties with the stigma associated with skateboarders. We will schedule planned opportunities for our students to give back to the community quarterly or bi-quarterly. Examples could include serving food at a local food bank or raking leaves for the elderly. These will not be mandatory and will never exceed 2 hours. Please indicate if you would be willing to do something like this with your student.

Due to the influx of students requesting scholarships, we ask that all of our scholarship students are committed to their lessons. We reserve the right to revoke scholarship privileges if students continually miss sessions.

We ask that you keep the scholarship pricing confidential. You are free to share that we have a scholarship program with others, but the amount is based on need. With that in mind we ask if you do receive a scholarship to keep the amount private.

Thanks for submitting your response! Someone will reach out shortly!
